Training in Vegetable and Corn Farming Technologies, Malawi

Last month, MASHAV experts led an intensive agricultural training program at LUANAR Natural Resources College in Bunda, Malawi.

The training hosted 28 agronomists, farmers, and university representatives for hands-on training in maize and vegetable cultivation. Participants engaged in practical sessions on precision irrigation, soil fertility management, and pest control strategies, aimed at increasing productivity and strengthening agricultural sustainability.

Agricultural Training Programs in Kenya

Last month, MASHAV experts and the World Food Programme conducted two targeted agricultural training programs in Nakuru and Nyandarua Counties, Kenya, as part of the WFP initiative “From Farm to Market”.

These sessions brought together 56 agronomists, farmers, Ministry of Agriculture representatives, and local government officials to explore practical strategies for drought resilience, soil fertility, irrigation efficiency, and post-harvest management.

Women in Agriculture Seminar, Ghana

In partnership with the University of Ghana, MASHAV experts and alumnae took part in the first-ever Women in Agriculture Seminar, inspiring over 250 students. The event showcased Israeli agricultural innovation, shared transformative alumnae experiences, and connected young women with mentors and new opportunities in the sector.
