Agricultural Alumni Gathering in Tirana

This week, MASHAV alumni from Albania’s agricultural sector gathered in Tirana to meet with Israeli agronomist and MATC Director Giora Tesler, Israeli Ambassador Galit Peleg, and representatives of Albania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Classrooms Inaugurated at Hospital in Albania

This month, two new classrooms were inaugurated at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center in Tirana, Albania, making educational continuity accessible to children hospitalized in the pediatric oncology department.

The initiative, led by the Israeli civil society organization SASA Setton with the support of the Center for Jewish Impact, was developed in collaboration with Albania’s Ministries of Education and Health. The Israeli Embassy in Tirana supported the project as part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between our countries.

Inclusive Play Spaces for Children in Moldova

In partnership with the Municipality of Chișinău and the Embassy of Israel in Moldova, we supported the installation of five playgrounds in Chișinău, Moldova. The first playground was inaugurated on March 26, 2025, during a visit by Israeli Ambassador Joel Lion and Chișinău Mayor Ion Ceban. The project invests in safe, accessible play spaces for children across the city.
