Indo-Israel Collaboration in Agricultural Training

The INDO-ISRAEL Centre of Excellence for Vegetables in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, recently hosted a three-day training program titled "Methods of Open & Protected Cultivation in Vegetables." This training is part of the Indo-Israel Agricultural Project (IIAP), a longstanding partnership between MASHAV and the Government of India to promote sustainable and innovative agricultural practices.

Program Highlights:

• Participants: 53 agricultural officers from 14 IIAP-partnering states.
• Focus Areas: Advanced methods in open field and protected cultivation of vegetables, including hands-on demonstrations and practical training.

• Mr. Uri Rubinstein, Agriculture Attaché, MASHAV, Embassy of Israel in India.
• Local experts from NETAFIM, ICL, Coromandel, KF Bio Plants, Syngenta, Agriplast, Heirloom Seedlings, and ATGC Pvt Ltd.
