We are proud to see the Taskin Children’s Hospice in Tashkent continuing to operate and provide essential care to children with terminal illnesses and their families across the region.

Established in 2023 by MASHAV alumni, with the support of the Embassy of Israel in Uzbekistan, MASHAV, the Uzbek Ministry of Health, and the local NGO Ezgu Amal, the hospice is the first facility of its kind in Central Asia. It offers a holistic approach to medical, psychological, and social support for children and their loved ones in the most difficult of times.

During a recent visit to the hospice, Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Amir Ohana, planted a pomegranate tree—a symbol of life, healing, and hope for the future.
