Last month, MASHAV experts led an intensive agricultural training program at LUANAR Natural Resources College in Bunda, Malawi.
The training hosted 28 agronomists, farmers, and university representatives for hands-on training in maize and vegetable cultivation. Participants engaged in practical sessions on precision irrigation, soil fertility management, and pest control strategies, aimed at increasing productivity and strengthening agricultural sustainability.
Malawi’s fertile land and water availability provide strong agricultural potential, and discussions throughout the training focused on adapting techniques to local farming conditions. Since the program’s completion, the training graduates have remained in touch with MASHAV experts, showing their strong commitment to applying new knowledge in the field.
