Agricultural Alumni Gathering in Tirana

This week, MASHAV alumni from Albania’s agricultural sector gathered in Tirana to meet with Israeli agronomist and MATC Director Giora Tesler, Israeli Ambassador Galit Peleg, and representatives of Albania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Many of the alumni continue to work as farmers and agricultural consultants in Albania and abroad. The gathering offered a space to reflect on how their training in Israel has shaped their professional journeys and how Israeli agricultural know-how remains highly relevant to their work. Several shared how deeply they were inspired by the design of Israeli greenhouses, returning home determined to implement similar models in their region.

The event also served as a platform to explore new avenues for collaboration with MASHAV and our Agricultural Training Center in Shefayim.
